“I will lead the blind in ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do, I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16
I have never been the type to go off on my own, but I am doing it, tomorrow. Feelings of nervousness, sadness, and loneliness have often flooded over me, but then I am constantly reminded of this verse. The Lord first used this verse to confirm my plans of attending Bible College and since then He keeps bringing it back into memory, reminding me of His great plan and purpose. I know that this time away is greatly needed for the reason that I know great things will come from it. I serve an amazing God, so I cannot and will not expect anything less than amazing.
This experience is going to be one of the best, if not the best experience of my life, but I also know it will be one of the most trying. Through this I am learning how to die yet I am promised life and a life that will be lived abundantly. The momentary separation from loved ones is difficult, but I know that the One who loves us most keeps us in His perfect peace as we continue to seek Him daily.
